Huddersfield Art Gallery

Located in Huddersfield’s town centre, the gallery houses a collection of art by internationally renowned artists such as Frank Auerbach, Francis Bacon, Trevor Bell, John Bellany, David Bomberg, Joan Eardley, Jacob Epstein, Terry Frost, Harold Gilman, Roger Hilton, Ivon Hitchens, LS Lowry and Walter Sickert as well as artist who are local and have contributed to the local culture.There is also a small selection of sculpture, including works by Henry Moore, Carl Plackman, Jacob Epstein and in recent years Huddersfield has acquired contemporary works by Amikam Toren and Tom Wood. The Gallery is now part of the wider ranging Kirklees Museums and Galleries.
